    101120 - TAAF Swimming

The City of Bryan is excited to offer our fall swimming program with the Bryan Barracudas TAAF Fall Swim Team!! Join us at the Bryan Aquatic Center for advance level swim practice with our coaches. As long as you’re 13 years of age or older, able to swim 300 yards without stopping and know a minimum of 2 strokes, we have a place for you! All swimmers UNDER the age of 13 are required to get approval through the Aquatics Supervisor and Head Swim Coach in order to participate in this program. There is a TAAF Swimming rule limiting the time of all participants under the age of 13 to 90 minutes per week of stroke and turn clinic work before the TAAF swimming season begins.

This program aims to provide an opportunity for participants to get quality swim workouts each week in a family environment. We accept anyone that can meet the minimum age and swimming requirements - participants under the age of 13 who want to swim in the TAAF Summer Games of Texas and wish to work on their swimming skills will need to register for the TAAF Stroke Clinic activity that is not a part of regular practice - if you have any questions regarding this program please contact Marty Mulgrew at to ensure they meet the swimming ability requirements and understand the eligibility criteria. Practices will be held on Tuesday - Friday each week.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete in the T.A.A.F. Region 5 Swim Meet on July 18, 2020 at the Bryan Aquatic Center - those that qualify at this meet will be eligible to swim at the T.A.A.F. Summer Games of Texas championship meet Corpus Christie on July 30 - August 2, 2020.

Participants will pay a monthly fee for practice.
